2010 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 4 3.0 TD | SD V6 HSE, 264 000 KM’S, FULL SERVICE HISTORY, (NEW MOTOR FITTED BY LAND ROVER 145 000 KM’S AGO AT A COST OF R 175 000.00), IMMACULATE CONDITION, SELLING FOR R 279 950.00 You will not find a cleaner Discovery 4 HSE for under R 300K anywhere else in SA, and that’s a promise, we have gone through his whole car from top to bottom, as a matter of fact, It’s been away from the showroom for a month, that’s how much stuff we have done on it, and that’s also the reason that we can guarantee you are purchasing the cleanest HSE for under R300K anywhere in SA. Don’t let the mileage confuse you, this engine has only done 145 000 km’s, a new engine was fitted by Land Rover (invoices available) for the amount of R 175 000.00, this was done in 2017, which also means that the new engine fitted to this car does not have the dreaded issue of the infamous faulty crank shaft. (Which is a big plus if you ask me) This is the top of the range HSE spec, she drives brilliantly, and probably better than most newer Disco’s I have seen of late. The HSE spec means she is the highest spec Discovery 4 that came out of the Land Rover factory, the additional extras and creature comforts are a massive selling point and advantage over its lesser specked siblings. WHAT MAKES THIS CAR SPECIAL? • New engine fitted by Land Rover in 2017, this new engine only has 145 000 Km’s on it • Upgraded engine with no faulty crank • Top of the range HSE spec • Immaculate condition inside and out • All four General Grabber All terrain tyres are in excellent condition • Full service history • Parcel shelf • Spare keys • 7 seater • Beautiful light Napa leather interior (HSE) • Rear air cool (HSE) • Harman/ Kardon surround sound • 360 Degree view cameras (HSE) • Follow me Home head lamps (HSE) • Key less entry (HSE) • Electric memory seats (HSE) The various extras in the HSE compared to the SE or S are huge, and very noticeable when you are driving the car. The pics and advert will never do this car justice to explain actually how pristine this vehicle is. I have priced this car according to how clean it is, how much work we have done to it, and the main fact because the new spec post 2013 engine only has 145 000 Km’s, YES sure you can find better priced 2010 models out there with 190/200 K Kilometre’s, you can ever find 2012’s out there for this price with 200 000 Km’s, but none of them will have the new pec post 2013 engine and none of them will be in this condition with only 145 000 Km’s on the motor, I know which one I would chose for sure, and I’m sure you do also, THIS ONE VEHICLE AND ENGINE SPECS: • Fuel type : Diesel • Number of cylinders : V 6 • Engine capacity : 2993 cm3 • Maximum power: 253 HP / 188 kW • Maximum torque : 600 Nm • Acceleration 0 to 100 km/h: 9.3 s • Drive wheels: AWD • Transmission Gearbox - Number of speeds : 8 speed Automatic • Ground clearance : 31.0 cm • Fuel Consumption - Combined: 8.8 L (factory claim, I have found them to be more like 12 L) • Fuel Tank Capacity : 82 L WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THIS WHEN WE BOUGHT IT? • Obviously we go through every car with a fine tooth comb, and whatever needs repairs be that Mechanical, interior or exterior, we don’t shy away from and spend what needs to be spent in order to make the car as close to new condition as possible. • All 4 alloy rims had to be refurbished for curb rash • We basically redid the entire interior and brought it back to new condition, purely because after so many years the light Napa leather started looking a bit dull, we also recovered the drivers arm rest, driver’s door top leather. • We resprayed all 4 wheel arches as they had road rash on them • Both side mirror covers have been resprayed because of bush scratches • Main front grille has been resprayed for small stone chips • We sent it to our Land Rover Specialists and advised to go through the whole car and repair whatever is necessary: • Major service including the oil cooler replacement • 2 x wheels bearings both front door locks replaced • Hand brake module replaced We probably spent too much money on this car being a 2010, but at least I can safely say, the new owner is getting a fantastic example of a Disco 4 HSE. Seeing is believing, and driving is even better. If your budget is under R300K, and you are sick and tired of looking at rubbish cars out there, I urge you to come through and see this car.
